Teddy Wars Game - Left 4 Ted

p = All Weapons
n = 10,000 Plutonium

This game uses 3D graphics acceleration so you’ll need to install it on a PC with a graphics card that supports DirectX 9.0. The download file is 30 MB. Download the .msi file from file front then run/double click it to install under Windows. It will create shortcut on your desktop as well as a Start Programs entry.

The controls are pretty self explanatory, WASD for movement, 12345 for weapons, left mouse for fire, right mouse for “bullet time”. You can look up the controls under the Options menu item. ESC will display the menu any time during game play. You can only save your game at the end of each level and be careful with those lives as you only get a new life after earning significant points.

If you have a wide screen, good graphics card and want to change the screen size to wide screen you can edit the file below.  To edit in windows 7, run notepad as administrator, go to the file directory, show all files, open and edit the file below. This will allow you to save it back to program files without an access violation.

Warning: This game does contain some Teddy violence that may not be suitable for younger players. To uninstall just use the Add/Remove Programs tool under the Windows control panel.

Making the Fur Fly

As we develop the 3D animation and the new version of the game, one of our key areas of focus is realistic fur. We have created a fur shader for our game engine and intend using it extensively in the game as well as for short animation work. As our teddies are intergalactic peace keepers, and take their work very seriously, a realistic look both in our animation and game engine is very important to us.

President Ted

President Ted is a wiser battle hardened Teddy who assists the U.S. President in making key decisions during alien attack. While the U.S. President is concerned with the state of the nation, President Ted is more concerned with getting the job done irrespective of political correctness. President Ted is the U.S. President's alter ego and is always chatting up the good-looking U.S. Presidential secretaries in a cocky and funny way while smoking a fat unlit cigar.

Master Chef

Master Chef is famous for ridding the universe of the dreaded Coventry alliance and the nasty Froth zombies that they created. He was once a member of the ancient Japanese martial arts cult of the Steel Chefs. His enjoyment of food has made him slightly rotund. His voice is gritty, with the lines to match “go ahead, make my lunch”, and of course, you can never see his face hidden permanently by his battle helmet.

The Lamiens are Coming

The Lamiens are on the move. Pods hurtle in from above into a small county town. Bouncing along the road, implanting themselves in the ground, and breaking through the rooves of houses, the pods quickly hatch into Lamien Ants. Wriggling away into dark places their growth into Soldier Lamiens is rapid. The Soldiers are adventurous and dangerous and can curl up into their pod shape to hide in small dark scary places. Who can stop the Lamien invasion? President Ted already has a plan to activate the town’s Teddies.

Little John

John is a Japanese Teddy. He is the last of the Teddy Samurai. Although he is small in stature he is not to be underestimated as he is a master of the ancient martial arts of Jujutsu (hand to hand combat) and Iaido (sword work). One false move and alien parts will fall away separated by his razor sharp katana.

Minion Teddies vary in color from blond, tan, brown to almost black. They provide an important troop function and allow an “army” to fight, strategically defend goals or fend off the increasing numbers of Lamiens.
